The objective of the research is to determine the relationship that exists between social networks and the learning of mathematics in times of the Covid 19 pandemic in students of the Faculty of Mining Engineering of the National University "Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo" semester 2020-I -Huaraz, 2021.The research is descriptive type, quantitative method and correlational descriptive design; Two instruments were applied: survey validated by two experts, applied to a sample of 80 students. The variables analyzed social networks and learning of mathematics, in whose investigation an affirmative hypothesis and a null hypothesis were formulated. After analyzing the results, it is stated that there is a significant relationship between social networks and mathematics learning, confirming the affirmative hypothesis. The verification of the hypothesis was done by applying the Chi square. So it is concluded that if there is a significant relationship between social networks and the learning of mathematics in times of the Covid 19 pandemic in students of the Faculty of Mining Engineering of the National University "Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo" semester 2020-I- Huaraz, 2021.
